LADRILLOS MORA

Trust

EXPERIENCE

We are the fourth generation on the brick manufacture. More than 50 years on the ceramic industry endorse us as ones of the leaders in the ceramic industry.

We have evolved from the classical normal wall brick to the best quality Klinker Facade color through brick.

There is a lot of hard work and imagination, to develop a great variety of colors and sizes with our unique quality standard of Ladrillos Mora.

Our factory is located at ILLESCAS, Toledo, Spain, and we export our Klinker bricks to the five continents, being the Spanish market our main customer, where the facade brick has great tradition and where recently outstanding buildings have been developed.

ENVIRONMENT

The project of our Factory was developed under the constraints of an optimal use of energy and of natural resources.

We use natural gas and re-use the thermal energy with the objective of produce the minimum environment impact and to reduce the greenhouse gas emission, complying at all times with the international protocols and using the most updated technologies in the ceramic industry (MTD).

We manufacture a hundred percent natural products, inert, without pollutant substances and in their production we do not use raw materials that can damage the ecosystem.

ENVIRONMENT

· We use photodegradable packing

· Our photovoltaic plant produces solar energy

· We control our hazardous wastes

· We control the emissions of particles

· We make measurements of ambient noise.

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

We do research on the applications of waste materials, like glass, on the bricks production. Glass, once fine milled in our milling plant, is added to our clays to manufacture bricks. This interesting and ambitious project was funded by the CEE under the name Life Clay Glass.

The project has the objective of the reduction of CO2 emissions for the ceramic industry. Thus, by adding recycled glass, the amount of clay used can be reduced, a natural resource, and at the same time a material that currently is discarded can be re-used.

At our technical laboratory we are continuously making tests to develop new colors for our bricks based on different types of clays and natural minerals purchased in several regions of Spain.

Our objective is to develop all sizes and colors demanded by our customers all around the world.

Our meticulous quality control in the test made at our laboratory and at the production process allows us to improve every day the technical characteristics of our bricks like absorption, compression resistance, geometry properties etc.
